Peer Review Hosted by Cambridge

The Cambridge office hosted an inaugural spring drinks event at the end of last month to which peers in the business, financial and professional services were invited for drinks at the office.

The networking event attracted people from a range of Cambridge  companies including representatives of high profile local solicitors Hewitsons and Kester Cunningham John and Mills & Reeve and financial advisors AWD Chase De Vere Wealth Management and Clydesdale Bank.

Carter Jonas partners and associates from all divisions were on-hand to assist with networking between established names and faces and those new to the work of the firm.

Tim Jones, head of the rural division and of the Cambridge office said

“While the tone of the evening was very informal, it gave us all, as representatives of the local business scene, the opportunity to find out more about those firms we already do business with and to introduce ourselves to companies whom we knew only by personal or professional reputation before the event.

“We are hoping to make this a regular calendar event on the Cambridge networking scene.”

Tim is head of the firm's Rural Division and of the Cambridge office, although he spends a considerable amount of time in London.  He has over 20 years experience in advising institutional and private clients on a very wide range of rural business issues, including sales and purchases, strategic advice and valuations.  He often works with specialists in other divisions of the firm to provide clients with a fully integrated property service.  Tim lives near Newmarket and has a keen interest in country pursuits, encouraged constantly by his two children.
