Mark is a Partner and Chief Executive of Carter Jonas.  His professional work involves the management of agricultural estates across the country for both private and institutional clients.  Mark's role in running Carter Jonas, takes him from his Yorkshire home, to London and elsewhere in England and Wales.  His interest outside the office is sport, and in particular tennis, which he manages to play most weeks during the summer and winter.

Richard is a Partner and head of Carter Jonas' Residential Division.  Based in Cambridge and London, Richard advises private clients in the sale, management and letting of high value residential property in the eastern counties and advises high quality house builders on the feasibility and marketing of developments.  Richard is a keen sailor and enjoys all types of water sports. Out of sailing season interests include country pursuits, vintage farm machinery and classic cars,  skiing and property restoration.  Historic buildings and architecture is an interest which has grown over the past 30 years in the property profession.

Ashley advises on all aspects of buying and selling residential property including valuations in Mayfair and St James’s, and he works closely with developers and investors in acquisitions and subsequent resales.  Having spent his formative years in the blue seas of the Bahamas, Ashley is a keen swimmer and qualified scuba diver.  On the dry land of north London he enjoys refurbishing and developing property, and indulging his interests in food and fine wines.

Chris is a Partner and head of the firm's Commercial Division.  Based in London and Cambridge, he specialises in all aspects of the development process from site appraisal and acquisition through funding and development management.  Chris also advises on strategic planning and development issues.  He is a keen photographer having been semi-professional for a while some years ago and is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society.  In search of his favourite subject – seabirds – he has travelled to various parts of the world, including The Falklands and South Georgia in the Antarctic, where he drank a tot of rum over Shackleton’s grave, sat beside a wandering albatross on its nest and walked amongst 100,000 king penguins.

Charles is a Partner, based in the Oxford and Mayfair offices.  He specialises in maximising returns for property investors, through the active management of portfolios and individual properties across the South of England and in London.  In his spare time, Charles enjoys keeping fit and is a keen skier.  He is also a governor of a local school.  Charles is a life member of National Trust and The Wine Society, and resolutely follows the fortunes of Preston North End.

Kevin is a Partner, working from our Mayfair and St James's office and specialises in Leasehold Reform Act valuations, lease renewals, rent reviews, expert witness work and other residential valuations.  He advises a wide-range of clients including landed estates, companies, institutions and private individuals.  Away from the office Kevin's main interest is football and Queens Park Rangers in particular

Michael is a Partner, based at our Mayfair office, who specialises in providing commercial property advice to clients seeking office accommodation throughout central London.  He also represents London based tenants in relation to lease renewal and rent review negotiations.  Michael acts for a number of  'blue chip' organisations including, for example, English Heritage, Rank Group Plc, Rentokil Initial Plc, Qantas Airways, Fiat Auto and Alfa Romeo.  When not advising clients on office relocations, Michael spends his spare time climbing mountains in the United Kingdom and abroad and has recently climbed a 6,500 m peak in the Nepalese Himalayas.  His ambition is to one day climb one of the most iconic Alpine mountains – Switzerland’s Matterhorn.

Peter is an Associate and leads the London-based Infrastructures Team. Peter has over 20 years' experience in transport-related property matters as well as in asset and estate management. He has worked on some of the country's largest transport infrastructure projects and has a significant experience in promoting and executing complex land assembly projects and acquisitions. Peter is a keen fisherman and spends much of his spare time fruitlessly trying to lead his four daughters away from the shops and towards the river.

Kim has been working in the Mayfair and St James's lettings market for over 11 years and advises on all aspects of lettings, including appraisals, refurbishment and furnishing of rental properties. Although Kim lives outside London, her fondness for working in Mayfair has made her a commmitted commuter and her proximity to Bond Street has led to a penchant for collecting designer handbags. During her leisure time away from Mayfair, Kim enjoys dining in the best out-of-town restaurants and relaxing in the sunshine.

Tim is a Senior Valuer based at our Mayfair and St James's office. He is responsible for valuations for all purposes of both residential and commercial property and is experienced in rent reviews and lease renewals, rating, compensation, and leasehold enfranchisement. He has acted as an expert witness on many occasions. At weekends, he plays veterans hockey and enjoys gardening .
